Get the most out of your golf lessons

With the superb camera technology on phones and tablets available today and using a golf dedicated app called Hudl Brian can film and analyse your swing on a hand held device, go through it with you and then email you your personalised review.

Being able to view your swing at full speed and then slowed down is a massive aid when working on a change in technique as quite often a new movement needs to be exaggerated to see an effect. Your personalised review then serves as a reminder of what to practice.

FlightScope

In addition to using video analysis your club and ball data can be measured using a launch monitor, Brian uses FlightScope which is also used by many of the very top players and their coaches.

This radar technology is also what you’ll see on your TV when they track the ball and gives us over twenty different parameters of club and ball information.

The data captured after a few shots can then be used to help decide which areas of your swing need most attention.

Whilst not needed in every single lesson it’s a very useful tool for measuring progress so a session using the FlightScope every few sessions can really help the player understand their game.

There’s an additional cost of £25 per hour to use FlightScope and it must be booked in advance.
