As I compose this blog we are three weeks into the lockdown due to Corona virus and unless you happen to have a back garden like Padraig Harrington (who has been putting some great stuff out on the internet to help people) then you probably have limited space to practice your golf.
Open letter to all Golfers
First of all I hope that you and your family have stayed safe during this very difficult period.
I’m sure that you are aware now that golf will be back on the agenda from May 13th and while it may not be everyone’s priority to get back to golf I’m also receiving messages asking when we may start up again.
It’s still unclear what the advice is regarding private lessons and we still don’t know if the driving range will be open but it looks as if the course at Dukes Meadows will be open for 2 players at a time which may make it possible to conduct on course lessons.
There are still many questions to be answered and from my point of view your safety and the safety of others is still the priority.
As soon as it’s safe to do so I’m keen to get back to coaching so please get in touch when you feel you are ready.
All the best
We have a number of trips planned through the winter months so instead of playing in the cold, rain and wind, sign up for a great golf holiday with our qualified PGA Professionals. A Spring Golf training academy is a great way of improving your game.
